Conversion of a stainless steel welded construction to an aluminum casting
Description: The existing design was assembled from 17 stainless steel parts. The processes of laser cutting, punching, bending, milling, and welding were replaced with the sand casting process. Additionally, the heavy stainless steel material was replaced with aluminum.
